Display and Build

The Huawei Y91 boasts a 6.95 inches IPS LCD display that presents visuals in a resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels. Enhanced with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, users are treated to smooth scrolling and vibrant images. Its 950 nits peak brightness ensures clarity even in direct sunlight. The double-reinforced glass protection adds a layer of durability against accidental drops.

Performance and Storage

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, built on a 6 nm architecture. This is coupled with an octa-core CPU, ensuring efficient multitasking and overall performance. Assisting in graphics-intensive tasks is the Adreno 610 GPU. Users have the option of choosing between 6GB or 8GB RAM variants, both with 128GB UFS storage, ensuring speed and ample space for apps, media, and more.

Camera System

Photography on the Huawei Y91 is handled by a dual-camera setup at the rear. The primary 50 MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture is equipped with PDAF and OIS for sharp and stabilized shots. This is complemented by a 2 MP depth sensor for those portrait shots. The camera system also offers features like LED flash, HDR, and panorama. For video enthusiasts, the phone can record up to 1080p at 30fps.

Selfies and video calls are taken care of by an 8 MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture, also capable of 1080p video recording.

Connectivity and Features

In terms of connectivity, the Huawei Y91 supports GSM, HSPA, LTE, and even 5G networks. It can house either a Single Nano-SIM or be used in a Dual SIM configuration. For local connections and internet, the phone offers dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0. Navigation is handled by GPS, and data transfer or charging is through the USB Type-C 2.0 port.

The phone’s build includes a glass front, a plastic back, and frame. For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
