Google Pixel 7a: The affordable flagship from Google
Google has also announced its latest flagship phone, the Google Pixel 7a, at its annual hardware event.
The Pixel 7a is a more affordable version of the Pixel 7, but still offers impressive features and performance.
The Pixel 7a has a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR support. It is powered by the Google Tensor G2 chipset, which is the same processor that runs the Pixel Fold and the Pixel 7.
It has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but no card slot for expansion. It supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.2.
Has a 64MP main camera with PDAF, OIS, and dual-LED flash. It also has a 13MP ultrawide camera for capturing more of the scene. The Pixel 7a features Pixel Shift technology, which combines multiple shots to create sharper and more detailed images.
The device also supports Auto-HDR, panorama, and 4K video recording at up to 60fps. The Pixel 7a has a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood it runs on Android 13, the latest version of Google’s operating system that offers new features and improvements. Has a fingerprint scanner under the display, as well as other sensors such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer. The device has a 4385mAh battery that supports wired charging at up to 18W and wireless charging.
The Pixel 7a is available in two colors: Snow and Coral. It weighs 193.5 grams and measures 152 x 72.9 x 9 mm.
