The Apple iPhone XR is an advanced smartphone that was released by Apple Inc. in October 2018. It is a part of the 12th generation of Apple’s iPhone, sitting alongside the iPhone XS and XS Max.
The iPhone XR features a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD display, which is a type of LCD screen that has a resolution of 1792 x 828 pixels and a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch (PPI). This makes it slightly larger than the standard iPhone XS but smaller than the XS Max. The display supports True Tone technology, which adjusts the white balance to match the ambient lighting, and has a wide color display (P3).
Under the hood, the XR is powered by Apple’s A12 Bionic chip, a six-core CPU with two performance cores and four efficiency cores, as well as a four-core GPU. It also includes the next-generation Neural Engine for advanced machine learning. The A12 Bionic allows for a faster and more efficient performance when running apps and games.
The XR comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization, and a Quad-LED True Tone flash. It supports 4K video recording at 24, 30, or 60 frames per second, and 1080p HD video recording at 30 or 60 fps. The front camera is a 7-megapixel TrueDepth camera with an f/2.2 aperture, supporting advanced features like Portrait Mode and Animoji.
The iPhone XR is available with three options for internal storage: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. It does not support external storage. The device runs on iOS, Apple’s proprietary mobile operating system, and it received updates for several years following its release.
In terms of design, the XR is available in several colors: black, white, blue, yellow, coral, and (PRODUCT)RED. It has a glass front and back with an aerospace-grade aluminum frame, which supports wireless charging. The device is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, meaning it can survive immersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.
Finally, the iPhone XR supports Face ID for secure authentication and Apple Pay. It has dual SIM capabilities (Nano-SIM and eSIM), and the battery supports up to 25 hours talk time or 15 hours of internet use, with fast-charge capabilities that can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes.
Display Display Technology => A number of display technologies and types used in mobile phones => TFT (Thin Film Transistor), IPS (In-Place Switching), OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode), AMOLED (Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode), Super AMOLED (an even advanced version of AMOLED), Resistive Touchscreen (Resistive touchscreens contain two layer of conductive material with a very small gap between them which acts as a resistance), Capacitive Touchsceen (Capacitive touchscreen technology consists of a layer of glass coated with a transparent conductor) |

CPU CPU (Central Processing Unit) mostly known as processors, CPU processes instructions in order to carry out certain functions that make your device operate properly. Processors are often described as the brain of computers, smartphones and tablets, Smartphones and tablets rely on processors to carry out their every task, Processors are an incredibly important factor in selecting any type of computing device, including your smartphone. | Apple A12 Hexa-Core Bionic chip |
GPU GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) is a single-chip processor designed to rapidly manipulate and alter memory to accelerate the creation of images in a frame buffer intended for output to a display, This includes things such as lighting effects, object transformations, and 3D motion. | Apple GPU (eight-core graphics) |
RAM (Memory) RAM (Random Access Memory) is a type of computer memory that can be accessed randomly, any byte of memory can be accessed without touching the preceding bytes that allows information to be stored and accessed quickly from random locations. RAM is the most common type of memory found in computer systems, smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices. | TBA |
Internal Storage Internal Storage is a data storage space (flash memory) mostly used in smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices where operating system, apps, music, photos, videos, files and other user data Is stored. | 64GB/128GB/256GB internal storage |
Camera Camera is able to capture photographs and usually videos, The most important characteristics of a camera are the resolution (measured in megapixels), lens focus type (fixed or automatic), higher megapixel cameras are known to capture higher quality photos, but not always a good measurement of the photos quality. |
